~ #TopTenTuesday: Valentine’s Day (Hearts on Book Covers) ~

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

How it works: Each Tuesday will be assigned a topic and then you post your top ten list that fits it. Feel free to add your own spin on the topic to make it work for you! For me, I’m not sure the type of spin I want to put on it, so for now I’ll post fairly straight-forward responses.

I put this month’s topics at the bottom of the post, but you can find the whole list on the host blog. If you don’t have a blog, you’re welcome to participate using other social media or even by putting your list in the comments.

This Week’s Topic: Valentine’s Day/Love Freebie – Given that this week was a Freebie, my theme is novels that feature hearts on the cover!

**You can select the cover of each novel to access their entry on Goodreads and their titles below for my reviews.**

FEBRUARY TOPICS:

February 2: Books Written Before I Was Born (These can be books you’ve read or want to read!) (submitted by Davida Chazan @ The Chocolate Lady’s Book Review Blog)
February 9: Valentine’s Day/Love Freebie
February 16: Purple, Yellow, and/or Green Book Covers (in honor of Mardis Gras, which is today!)
February 23: Books That Made Me Laugh Out Loud (Claire @ Book Lovers Pizza)

This is my first “freebie” list and I found that it more difficult to come up with my own than to find novels that follow a topic. I put two criteria on this week’s “Valentine’s Day/Love Freebie” topic where, (1)I would choose books with hearts on the cover and (2)they had to be novels I have already written a review on this blog. If I did not add the second criteria, it would have been very difficult to choose as I have hundreds both on my Kindle and physical book shelves that I have either read or want to read. This week was fun, though, as it was nice to reminisce about books that I read what seems like forever ago, even though it was only a few months.

    1. Thank you, it was difficult to choose the direction to take for this freebie! If you haven’t read the second novel in the Friend Zone series, The Happy Ever After Playlist, you should give it a try as it is all about Sloane. 😀
