~ Top Ten Tuesday: Jobs I Wish I Had ~

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

How it works: Each Tuesday will be assigned a topic and then you post your top ten list that fits it. Feel free to add your own spin on the topic to make it work for you! For me, I’m not sure the type of spin I want to put on it, so for now I’ll post fairly straight-forward responses.

I put this month’s topics at the bottom of the post, but you can find the whole list on the host blog. If you don’t have a blog, you’re welcome to participate using other social media or even by putting your list in the comments.

This Week’s Topic: Characters Whose Job I Wish I Had (maybe not even because the job sounds fun, but maybe the co-workers are cool or the boss is hot?)

FEBRUARY TOPICS:

MARCH TOPICS:

  • March 2: Characters Whose Job I Wish I Had (maybe not even because the job sounds fun, but maybe the co-workers are cool or the boss is hot?)
  • March 9: Spring Cleaning Freebie (for example, books you’re planning to get rid of for whatever reason, book’s you’d like to clean off your TBR by either reading them or deciding you’re not interested, books that feel fresh and clean to you after winter is over, etc.)
  • March 16: Books On My Spring 2021 TBR
  • March 23: Funny Book Titles
  • March 30: Places In Books I’d Love to Live

I actually wanted to be all of the above jobs at one point or another in my childhood up until now and they all sound(ed) like fun. Some of these novels also featured amazing co-workers that I would love to have no matter what job I am in (present or future)! When I was very little, I wanted to be a Princess. As that is not a job anyone can get (haha), I moved on to either ballerina or wedding planner. A lot of parents friends were getting married at the time and I loved all the magic of weddings. At the same time, I was taking ballet classes with my friends and thought being a ballerina would be really fun. Next came, the pastry chef and bookshop owner phase, but I had to eliminate both as I my baking skills are not great and I would be a terrible book shop owner as I would never make a profit as I would want all the merchandise. This leaves the two marine jobs, tour guide and rescue center, geologist, professor, and author. If I can not have any of these fun jobs, then I will definitely settle for cool co-workers or a hot boss (or other hot guys to at least look at). These ten books do not limit my job dreams as I have many dreams that go all the way from realist to completely out there once we start adding magic to the mix (haha).

  1. Aw, princess is the best job in the world when you are little. But I agree when you are a grown up it matters a lot wether your colleagues are nice. As for a hot single chef, it would be a pleasant bonus, ahaha!
