Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
How it works: Each Tuesday will be assigned a topic and then you post your top ten list that fits it. Feel free to add your own spin on the topic to make it work for you! For me, I’m not sure the type of spin I want to put on it, so for now I’ll post fairly straight-forward responses.
I put this month’s topics at the bottom of the post, but you can find the whole list on the host blog. If you don’t have a blog, you’re welcome to participate using other social media or even by putting your list in the comments.
This Week’s Topic: Spring Cleaning Freebie (for example, books you’re planning to get rid of for whatever reason, book’s you’d like to clean off your TBR by either reading them or deciding you’re not interested, books that feel fresh and clean to you after winter is over, etc.)
**You can select the cover of each novel to access their entry on Goodreads and their titles below for my reviews, if available.**
MARCH TOPICS:
- March 2:
Characters Whose Job I Wish I Had (maybe not even because the job sounds fun, but maybe the co-workers are cool or the boss is hot?) - March 9:
Spring Cleaning Freebie (for example, books you’re planning to get rid of for whatever reason, book’s you’d like to clean off your TBR by either reading them or deciding you’re not interested, books that feel fresh and clean to you after winter is over, etc.) - March 16: Books On My Spring 2021 TBR
- March 23: Funny Book Titles
- March 30: Places In Books I’d Love to Live
This week is a Spring Cleaning Freebie. As my TBR seems to grow exponentially by the day, I made the decision to give audiobooks a try. Now that I’ve completed a few of them so far, I decided to convert some of my other TBRs from novels to read to audiobooks to listen to. As I typically focus on my novel TBR, I decided to focus on my audiobook TBR list for this week’s topic. (Some of these may end up being novels instead of audiobooks, but for now, these are on my audiobook TBR list.)
To further narrow down my list, I chose some top 2020 releases for this audiobook TBR clean-up list. All ten are those that I have been meaning to get to for a long time and I hope to get to them sometime in the near future, hopefully this month, if I am lucky. For next week, it will take some thought as my 2021 Spring TBR is very long so, like this week, it will take some thought to narrow it down.

I recently finished reading The House in the Cerulean Sea and loved it, I hope you do too!

Thank you! I am about a quarter of the way through the audiobook and it is excellent so far! I hope it continues as I’ve heard nothing but great things about it!

I somewhat picked up listening to audiobooks last year, but it’s still rare for me to do as I have a tendency to zone out about every five minutes. They can definitely be useful at times though! I hope you’re able to get to all of these and enjoy them! I believe Among the Beasts and Briars is the only one on my TBR.

I tried and failed many times with audiobooks as I’m the same and tend to zone out. So far, I’ve found a few that have kept my concentration and I hope the ones on my list do the same. I hope you enjoy Among the Beasts and the Briars as I hope to get to it this month! 😀

Thank you! I managed to finish one this morning and have the next on standby, Cerulean Sea, to hopefully get to next. Hopefully, I can make my way through all 10 and then start the next set. 🙂
