~ Goodreads Monday: Royal Holiday (Wedding Date #4) ~

This is a weekly meme where any one can choose a random book from their Goodreads TBR and highlight it. Once you choose a book and create your post, make sure you link and reference the creator, @Lauren’s Page Turners. Eventually, I will try to find a rhyme or reason to my choices, but for now, each week will feature a random one that I mean to read soon!

This Week’s Selection:

Royal Holiday (Wedding Date #4) by Jasmine Guillory

Published October 1st 2019, 304 pages

From the New York Times bestselling author of The Proposal comes a dazzling new novel about a spontaneous holiday vacation that turns into an unforgettable romance.

Vivian Forest has been out of the country a grand total of one time, so when she gets the chance to tag along on her daughter Maddie’s work trip to England to style a royal family member, she can’t refuse. She’s excited to spend the holidays taking in the magnificent British sights, but what she doesn’t expect is to become instantly attracted to a certain private secretary, his charming accent, and unyielding formality.

Malcolm Hudson has worked for the Queen for years and has never given a personal, private tour—until now. He is intrigued by Vivian the moment he meets her and finds himself making excuses just to spend time with her. When flirtatious banter turns into a kiss under the mistletoe, things snowball into a full-on fling.

Despite a ticking timer on their holiday romance, they are completely fine with ending their short, steamy affair come New Year’s Day. . .or are they?

Lately, I have been featuring upcoming ARCs for these posts and wanted to change it up a little by posting a novel from my TBR that I hope to read, or listen to, soon. Royal Holiday is the fourth novel in the Wedding Date series, which features intertwining characters that feature in each other’s novels as they all take turns being the lead. I previously read and reviewed four of the five currently published: The Wedding Date (#1), The Proposal (#2), The Wedding Party (#3), and Party of Two (#5). The sixth novel is due for publication later this year. I find this series fairly entertaining, I wanted to back-track and read the one novel that I’ve missed so far in the series. I am not sure if I will do the novel or audiobook version yet, but I do know that I want to hopefully read it either this month or next.
