~ Weekly Wrap-Up: Week 16 ~

Welcome to this week’s Weekly Wrap-up. For these posts, I will recap my reviews and other posts from the past week and highlight any books that were published within the last week (if any). In addition, to recapping my week, these posts also serve the purpose of helping me to figure out where I am for my progress on different books/posts and to help plan out the next week.

I can not believe that I complete The Folk of the Air novels this week, including the two novellas. The audiobooks were fantastic for them and I would gladly listen to them again. Eventually down the line, I would also like to read the print versions just to give myself a new experience, but that is probably years from now. My other novels were a fun mix of fantasy and romance and I am excited to see what next week’s reads will bring. I think I have to give up finishing the Blood and Ash series this month as I just do not have the time to dedicate to both the second and third novels. I own them at least, so I will pick them up once I find a moment. I am very hopeful for May!

I continue to be lucky with the projects I am working on for my job as it is a lot of analysis, so I can listen to audiobooks while I work. It’s nice to be able to continue reading so many great books as it is a nice escape. Life is not going horribly, but it is nice to be able to not think about any responsibilities sometimes and just focus on my current novel. I cannot believe next week marks the end of April! This month went by fairly quickly, especially in reading-land as I have not experienced a reading slump and have been in the mood to read tons. I have no idea about the exact books that will close out my reading list for April, but I do have a list of ARCs to get through before I go and request more. I have been really good and have kept my promise to myself to not request anything this month. If I continue to read at this rate, I might request more in May (it does not mean I will actually be approved for all of them, but at least I can give myself a chance to try). I hope everyone has/had a great week and may the last week of April go well! Happy reading and/or blogging!
