The rules for this one are simple: Each month you spell the month in books (Initial articles – The, A, and An – do not count.)
There are three main ways to choose the books: you can use the books that you have already read, books that are on your TBR shelf, or you can do the option I chose and do a mix of both.
Lately I have chosen two novels for each letter and I decided to continue this for my May post. One list contains novels that I previously read and reviewed and the other includes those on my TBR.
**You can click the book covers to access each book’s Goodreads entry.**
Malice (Malice #1) & (The) Medusa Project
Accidentally Engaged & Ariadne
You Have a Match & You’re So Vain (Seven Brides for Seven Mothers #4)
“Y” is a very difficult letter as it seems that I do not have many on my list of either TBRs or previously read. It is a good thing, at least, that the next few months will not feature this letter. For my three “previously read” novels, I chose three that I’ve read this year and enjoyed. Malice also officially was updated on Goodreads to be listed as a duology, so I hope this means that the sequel was officially confirmed and will be announced soon. As soon as the sequel is available, I will jump at the chance to read it and see how it all comes together.
The Medusa Project is an ARC that I randomly came across and decided to try based on the title alone as I am a sucker for mythology. This brings me to my second read with Ariadne. Originally I was going to do the blog tour closer to this novel’s release date, but I changed it to the end of May so I could get my paperback copy to read instead. My last one is the fourth novel in the Seven Brides for Seven Mothers series. I’ve only read novels one and three, so I hope to circle back to the second before the fourth comes out later this year. It’s a fun series so I hope to get an ARC as soon as it becomes available. If not, then I’ll read it when it is published this August. We shall see how this month’s TBR portion goes as one of them does not currently have an ARC available, but at least I know I will be reading the other two! HAPPY READING IN MAY!

Great list!!! I just chose Ariadne as my book of the month!! I’m excited to read it 🙂

Thank you! I am very glad that we are done with “y” for awhile (meaning a one month break with June until we reach July haha). It at least gives me time to try and think of a new one to select.
