#SixforSunday is… it’s really just that. You choose 6 books (normally) that you’d choose to fit whatever the prompt is that week. This week’s prompt: Pastel coloured covers
May’s theme is Spring Into Action. For the second week, I will try and highlight some pastel covers.
This week was a lot easier than last week as I only had to quickly glance through my Goodreads lists to look at book covers. Finding pastel shades was difficult, so I went with some pinks, yellows, blues, and purples that were lighter shades.

1. The Switch
Eileen, newly single and about to turn eighty, would like a second chance at love, but her tiny Yorkshire village doesn’t offer many eligible gentlemen. 2. A Pho Love Story
If Bao Nguyen had to describe himself, he’d say he was a rock. Steady and strong, but not particularly interesting. His grades are average, his social status unremarkable. He works at his parents’ pho restaurant, and even there, he is his parents’ fifth favorite employee. Not ideal.
If Linh Mai had to describe herself, she’d say she was a firecracker. Stable when unlit, but full of potential for joy and fire. She loves art and dreams pursuing a career in it. The only problem? Her parents rely on her in ways they’re not willing to admit, including working practically full-time at her family’s pho restaurant.

3. Kisses and Croissants

4. It’s My Party (Seven Brides for Seven Mothers #3)
High off her success of playing matchmaker for both of her sons, lodge owner Ruby Cavanaugh decides to try her hand pairing other eligible singles-starting with her executive chef and her new event coordinator. That completes Week Two for May’s Sunday posts! This one was only difficult due to the shades for each color for what constitutes pastel versus not. I went with six novels that all featured lighter shades for each color while also being stories that I read and enjoyed. How did you interpret this week’s topic?
