This week’s prompt: Books on your Spring TBR
May’s theme is Spring Into Action. For the final fifth week, I will try and highlight six novels from my TBR.
This week was difficult as I have an endless TBR list. I went with a mix of ARCs, sequels that I need to get to, and one new series that I’ve heard great things about and hope they all turn out well.

1. One Last Stop
I loved Red, White & Royal Blue and have heard of great things about this novel. I have high hopes that this one will turn out well.

2. For the Wolf (Wilderwood #1)
I love retellings! I am very curious to see how this Red Riding Hood one will turn out with a new twist on the wolf. As I have an ARC for this, most likely I will start this one ASAP!
The first daughter is for the Throne.
The second daughter is for the Wolf.
For fans of Uprooted and The Bear and the Nightingale comes a dark fantasy novel about a young woman who must be sacrificed to the legendary Wolf of the Wood to save her kingdom. But not all legends are true, and the Wolf isn’t the only danger lurking in the Wilderwood.
As the only Second Daughter born in centuries, Red has one purpose-to be sacrificed to the Wolf in the Wood in the hope he’ll return the world’s captured gods.
Red is almost relieved to go. Plagued by a dangerous power she can’t control, at least she knows that in the Wilderwood, she can’t hurt those she loves. Again.
But the legends lie. The Wolf is a man, not a monster. Her magic is a calling, not a curse. And if she doesn’t learn how to use it, the monsters the gods have become will swallow the Wilderwood-and her world-whole.
3. Storm and Fury (Harbinger #1)
The final novel, Grace and Glory, in this trilogy will be published on June 1st. I have heard relatively good things about this trilogy and am curious to give it a try. I still have to finish the Blood and Ash trilogy, but I want to read the ebooks for those and this series I have in audiobook.

4. The Soulmate Equation

5. A Touch of Malice (Hades & Persephone #3)
The third novel in this series released in May. I still need to finish the second, as I only read the first, but most likely I will finish the series, even if it is not perfect.
Persephone and Hades are engaged. In retaliation, Demeter summons a snowstorm that cripples New Greece, and refuses to lift the blizzard unless her daughter calls off her engagement.
When the Olympians intervene, Persephone finds her future in the hands of ancient gods, and they are divided. Do they allow Persephone to marry Hades and go to war with Demeter or prohibit their union and take up arms against the God of the Dead?
Nothing is certain but the promise of war.
6. The Betrayals
I think this novel first ended up on my TBR as I love the cover! After reading the description, I figured this one would be a fun read for June, if I can manage it.

I can’t believe that is the last Sunday list for May! As I said above, I have thousands of other novels on my TBR. Since I do not have seasonal or monthly TBR lists, usually, I went with some novels that recently were released and then created this list from that starting point. I am not sure if I will get to all of them in June, but I hope to at least go through most of them! How did you interpret this week’s topic?
