Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
How it works: Each Tuesday will be assigned a topic and then you post your top ten list that fits it. Feel free to add your own spin on the topic to make it work for you! For me, I’m not sure the type of spin I want to put on it, so for now I’ll post fairly straight-forward responses.
I put this month’s topics at the bottom of the post, but you can find the whole list on the host blog. If you don’t have a blog, you’re welcome to participate using other social media or even by putting your list in the comments.
This Week’s Topic: Books On My Summer 2021 TBR (or winter, if you live in the southern hemisphere)
Below are ten randomly selected novels that I hope to read in July 2021 (or hopefully sooner).
**You can select the cover of each novel to access their entry on Goodreads.**
The cover alone is just gorgeous! I cannot wait to see the author’s take on the six swans story.
This book sounds really cute and I am excited to participate in the blog tour for this on July 6th.
I am a big fan of historical fiction and I cannot wait to see how this ARC turns out!
Stories about second chances and dealing with heartbreak in a gorgeous location sounds like a winning combo. I cannot wait to participate for the blog tour for this on July 12th.
This sounds like an excellent start to a new trilogy and I cannot wait to see how it all goes!
JUNE TOPICS:
- June 1:
Freebie (choose any past topic, or come up with you own)– Top 2021 Novels (So Far) - June 8:
Books I Loved that Made Me Want More Books Like Them (The wording is weird here, so if you have a better way to say this please let me know! What I’m thinking is… you read a book and immediately wanted more just like it, perhaps in the same genre, about the same topic or theme, by the same author, etc. For example, I once read a medical romance and then went to find more because it was so good. The same thing happened to me with pirate historical romances and romantic suspense.) - June 15:
Books On My Summer 2021 TBR (or winter, if you live in the southern hemisphere) - June 22: Bookish Wishes (My birthday is today, so celebrate with me by granting the wishes of your friends! This is a popular thing to do on Twitter, but today we’re blog hopping. List the top 10 books you’d love to own and include a link to a wishlist so that people can grant your wish. Make sure you link your wishlist to your mailing address [here’s how to do it on Amazon] or include the email address associated with your ereader so people know how to get the book to you. After you post, jump around the Linky and grant a wish or two if you’d like. Don’t feel obligated!)
- June 29: Most Anticipated Books of the Second Half of 2021
Happy third Tuesday post of June! I have a ton of novels on my TBR list, so it was difficult to pin down which novels I wanted to include for a summer TBR. I went with some blog tour novels as I am guaranteed to read them in July and then I went with other July ARCs since I will most likely try to read them around July. I have tons more that go into August plus all the backlog books I still want to get to, so this is a very small sampling of my anticipated TBR list.
How about you? What books are on your summer/winter TBR? You’re welcome to post them in the comments or even give a link to your list as I would love to read them! Happy Tuesday!

Capture the Crown looks good – definitely going to check that one out.
