Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
How it works: Each Tuesday will be assigned a topic and then you post your top ten list that fits it. Feel free to add your own spin on the topic to make it work for you! For me, I’m not sure the type of spin I want to put on it, so for now I’ll post fairly straight-forward responses.
I put this month’s topics at the bottom of the post, but you can find the whole list on the host blog. If you don’t have a blog, you’re welcome to participate using other social media or even by putting your list in the comments.
This Week’s Topic: Most Anticipated Books of the Second Half of 2021
Below are ten randomly selected novels that I hope to read later in 2021.
**You can select the cover of each novel to access their entry on Goodreads.**
This is the sequel to The Kingdom of the Wicked. Although I have not read the first, but I’ve heard great reviews and cannot wait to read both!
This is the sequel to Raybearer and it is another case where I’ve read fairly good reviews for the first and cannot wait to read both novels.
Although I still need to read Jade War, I greatly enjoyed Jade City and cannot wait to read the third novel, Jade Legacy!
After loving The House in the Cerulean Sea, I eagerly anticipate the author’s newest novel!
This is the first novel in the prequel series set in the same world as From Blood & Ash and I cannot wait to try it.
Another case where I am excited for the sequel and still need to read the first. I cannot wait to read both novels in the A Song of Wraiths and Ruin series.
I randomly saw this novel. As it is a historical fantasy featuring witches, it sounds like a great read!
This sounds like a fun and entertaining take on fairy tales and I cannot wait to read this first novel in this new series!
I love retellings, so I cannot wait to try out this new take on Jane Eyre!
This novel is described as a mix between Red White & Royal Blue meets Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, so I very curious how it will turn out!

Happy last Tuesday post of June! There are tons of novels coming out in 2021 and many that I still need to read that were released earlier this year. The ten on this list are ones I cannot wait to read, but are definitely the only ten that I am looking forward to reading!
How about you? What books are on your second half of 2021 TBR? You’re welcome to post them in the comments or even give a link to your list as I would love to read them! Happy Tuesday!
