Last week was another blog tour heavy week with four novels, Under a Sicilian Sky, The Secret Notebook, The Iron Crown, and Jenn Reinvented. I also managed six audiobooks, The Jasmine Throne, Daughter of Sparta, Of Silver and Shadow, Twice Shy, The Soulmate Equation, and Neon Gods, and two ARCs, Foretold and Love Life.
Since The Jasmine Throne, Daughter of Sparta, Neon Gods, and The Iron Crown are all the first novels in new series, I’ll have to wait and see what the next novels bring. For Jenn Reinvented, as it is the second novel in The Sweet Water Circle series, I added the first previously published novel and the third future novels to my TBR. Under a Sicilian Sky has a related novel called Dreaming Under an Island Skye that features two side characters, so I added that to my TBR, too.
Next week, my plan is to complete the Seasons of the Storm duology, which I will listen to on audiobook and try to work on a few ARCs as I do not recall having any blog tour posts to complete. Although I have a lot of ARCs, I am also working my way through my backlog titles. I am not sure which backlog novel I will go with, so I will have to randomly go with my mood. There are so many books and not enough time so I want to read them all at once, while also being conscious of potential burnout. I still have a few award and book tag posts that others have tagged me in awhile ago that I want to create posts for, but it is difficult to organize my thoughts sometimes. I will wait and see how my next week goes, but I am loving my analysis time at my job since I can listen to audiobooks while I work. If it was not for this time, I would never get through as many books as I do in a week, since I only have an hour or two to read ebooks/physical books a day if I am lucky.

I’ve been in a bit of a reading/blogging slump and am just starting to get back into it again. I finished a few really good books in the last week and now I am working my way through Under the Whispering Door which I have been so excited about and getting approved for the ARC pulled me immediately out of my slump!
