Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
How it works: Each Tuesday will be assigned a topic and then you post your top ten list that fits it. Feel free to add your own spin on the topic to make it work for you! For me, I’m not sure the type of spin I want to put on it, so for now I’ll post fairly straight-forward responses.
I put this month’s topics at the bottom of the post, but you can find the whole list on the host blog. If you don’t have a blog, you’re welcome to participate using other social media or even by putting your list in the comments.
This Week’s Topic: Books I Wish I Could Read Again for the First Time
I went with four “classic’ reads and then randomly chose six others that I would love to read again for the first time. Many of my choices are series, so, in theory, I would love to read the entire set again.

Books I Wish I Could Read Again for the First Time - August 31: Fictional Crushes
Happy fourth Tuesday post of August! I greatly appreciate that you took the time to read this post!
When I think of novels that I wish I could read again for the first time, there is a wide range of genres and authors that come to mind. I thought of everything from the Illiad to more modern works like Life’s Too Short, considering I loved all three Abby Jimenez novels. There is not really a ton of thought behind my reasons for choosing these ten novels over others. The novels on this list are ones that I greatly enjoyed and would easily re-read again, whether as an actual re-read or in a fictional world where I can turn back time and read them again for the very first time.
How about you? What novels do you wish you could read again for the first time? You’re welcome to post them in the comments or even give a link to your list as I would love to read them! Happy Tuesday!

Great list! I’d absolutely love to read P&P for the first time again (and also Persuasion which is tied for my fave Austen)! The same goes for Song of Achilles and Cerulean Sea. Such beautiful books and I loved them so much 😍 Great list!

Thank you! P&P is one that I pretty much have memorized by this point, so it is difficult to remember a time when it was still an unknown. 😛
