Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
How it works: Each Tuesday will be assigned a topic and then you post your top ten list that fits it. Feel free to add your own spin on the topic to make it work for you! For me, I’m not sure the type of spin I want to put on it, so for now I’ll post fairly straight-forward responses.
I put this month’s topics at the bottom of the post, but you can find the whole list on the host blog. If you don’t have a blog, you’re welcome to participate using other social media or even by putting your list in the comments.
This Week’s Topic: Memorable Things Characters Have Said (quotes from book characters that have stuck with you)
What is the point of life if you don’t believe in anything?
But I knew, deep down, that love had never fixed anyone. It had only given them the strength to try over and over and over again.
You know, it’s not what people say that give them away, but what they do.
Because happiness, however short lived, is always worth it.
Because I know no matter how long I get to love you, it will be worth whatever comes after.
Turns out, solitude is lonely, but being surrounded by people who want nothing to do with you hurts even worse.
I believe there are far more possibilities than happily ever after or tragedy. Every story has the potential for infinite endings.
She was the sun and the sea and the moon in one. She was the north star that pulled us to the shore.
A common enemy makes a wonderful alliance.
Know that if I had a choice, you would be my first choice. Always.

Happy second Tuesday for November!
For this week’s post, I actually had some difficulty remembering any great quotes from books. Therefore, I chose ten novels that I greatly enjoyed and did a random search on my Kindle for any quotes that stood out. I am sure there are other quotes that I love, but these are the ones that stood out to me in each.
How about you? Which quotes stuck with you?
