~ Weekly Wrap-Up: Week 46 ~

For this week, I managed to read and review six novels.

I am slowly catching up on my FairyLoot boxes as I posted my September box. I still have my October one that recently arrived, which I still need to open and see what it contains. My friend also did FairyLoot’s past box sale and got me the one from September 2020, so I cannot wait to see what is inside.

I completed the ARC for An Heiress’s Guide to Deception and Desire. The Lady’s Guide series is a lot of fun so far as it mixes historical romance and mystery. While I enjoyed the first installment, I loved the sequel a little more.

These Violent Delights and its sequel Our Violent Ends was a fantastic duology and lived up to the hype. I loved that it gave a new spin to Romeo and Juliet as both characters were delightful and the novels each lived up to having the word “violent” in their titles.

I began the League of Extraordinary Women series with Bringing Down the Duke and A Rogue of One’s Own. I still need to complete the third installment and eventually the fourth, which comes out in 2022. I enjoyed both the first and second novels, so I hope that the third and fourth turn out well.

My final novel is The Castle of Thorns, which was a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. This was my second novel by this author and, so far, I enjoy her writing.

As next week is Thanksgiving here in the US I am not sure how much reading I will get done, but I shall see what happens. Outside of reading, I am working on slowly cleaning out my laundry room as I have a lot of random things stored there and I want to attempt to get a jump start on my eventual spring cleaning. My boyfriend, sister, and her boyfriend are all outvoting me and want to put up Christmas/holiday decorations now while I am on the side of waiting until after Thanksgiving. As there are three of them and only one of me, I think I lost this battle, which means the decorations will come up this weekend (haha).
