~ Monthly Wrap-Up: NOVEMBER ~

Month eleven is already complete! I cannot believe there is only one month left before it is 2022!

Due to holidays/general obligations outside of blogging/reading, my count for this month is a lot lower than my usual 40-50ish from earlier this year. Most likely my December numbers will be lower, too, which I am okay with as all it takes is one amazing novel to make my month.

This month I read/reviewed 26 novels (11, of which, were audiobooks). Eight of them were ARCs and one was for a book blog tour.

Spell the Month in Books

~ NOVEMBER~

In addition to completing my 26 novels for the month, I continued my unboxings for FairyLoot and am caught up, for now. In November, I should have three boxes left as there is the current November box plus two extra past boxes from April 2021 and September 2020 that came from the FairyLoot sale (one I bought and the other was a gift). I also created a brief series of posts for the preliminary nominations for the Goodreads Choice Awards. The final round for the categories ends on Dec. 5. I know that I definitely want to make a post for this round, but I am not sure if I want to do another ranking type post or just do a summary of my choices. I will figure it out this week and put something together one way or another.

I also started the 20 Books for Christmas Reading Challenge, which you read 10, 15, or 20 Christmas, winter, or holiday reads between October and the end of the year. At the end of this month, I have read/reviewed eight novels and I am working on the ninth (The Winter We Met).

My house is finally decorated for the holidays, although I am still missing my dream snow. Since it does not snow in my city, my dream is to get one of those amazing (yet expensive) snow making machines so I can fake a white Christmas. Aside from decorating, work and holidays keep me busy. I am also trying to get a head start on spring cleaning to attempt to downsize anything I don’t use anymore. It is very slow, but at least this way I can do it little by little and have less to do later on.

I hope everyone had a great November and will have an excellent December!

  1. Wow, you got through a lot of books! Awesome month of reading, I hope December is just as good! I live in Hawaii so it doesn’t snow here (unless you are high up on one of the tallest mountains on the Big Island) but I feel like my neighbors make up for no snow with blazing light decorations on their houses. My hubby and I put a little bit of outdoor decorations but we don’t have their dedication for sure lol…I always feel bad though that ours is the dark spot (we have lights but it’s not ablaze like the rest).
