Since I did not have time to create a wrap-up for last week, I decided to combine it with this one.
Between the two weeks, I managed to complete ten novels with eight of them being audiobooks.
My two ARCs were Daughter of the Moon Goddess and Bad Luck Bridesmaid. The latter novel had tons of potential, but I really did not enjoy the main character. There were other elements that were hit or miss for me, too, but it was a nice introduction for this author. Daughter of the Moon Goddess is the first novel in the new Celestial Kingdom duology. The novel itself was very enjoyable, so I cannot wait to read the conclusion when it becomes available.
The first series that I completed was Ash Princess. The novels themselves were very enjoyable, although the series had some pieces that I did not like a lot. It was well worth completing and I cannot wait to try out additional Laura Sebastian novels, although I read Half Sick of Shadows previously. My second series is the incomplete Kingdom of the Wicked. While both novels were fantastic, the audiobook editions added an even greater level of enjoyment. I cannot wait to read the final novel later this year. The Cursebreakers series was my final one for this week, which I have been looking forward to for a while. This was a very entertaining Beauty and the Beast retelling that did not quite come together in the end. It was still another series that was worth the read and I may reread this one in the future. I also cannot wait to read the spin-off series and the author’s other novels.
I am currently working on a few other ARC novels to help complete my reads for January along with trying out some more audiobooks. After the holidays, my reading schedule hasn’t quite gotten back on track, so I need to work on it a little as I have a lot that I want to read. For now, I’ve enjoyed the novels that I have completed and I look forward to a lot more great reads in 2022!

Happy Reading! Thank you for reading my wrap-up!

Umm there’s a spin-off series of the A Curse So Dark and Lonely Series? How did I not know that? What’s it called?
