~ Weekly Wrap-Up: Week #3 ~

This week I managed to complete six novels (three ARCs, one review copy for a blog tour, and two audiobooks.

I still have many ARCs left to read for the end of January and the beginning of February, but I am slowly making my way through them. It is not that they are not interesting as it just is a case of a lack of free time on my part. My work life and my home life have been a lot busier. For work, I am covering many people that are either out because they have (or may have) COVID or they are around others that prevent them from working. As for home, just general life keeps me busy between family, friends, pets, and chores. Since reading is my relaxation time, I am trying to find that balance as I want to read more again, as there are too many novels that I still long to read.

~ My Other Posts ~

I finally caught up on the Well Met series by finishing the second installment, Well Played, and the third, Well Matched, until the fourth novel is released later this year. The series as a whole is very fun, even though some elements in each novel are hit or miss for me. I still can’t wait to read the next one, though.

My three main ARCs were all new-to-me authors. A Letter to Three Witches was unexpected as there was more humor and characters to follow than I initially thought. How to Love Your Neighbor had many excellent elements, especially relating to the DIY-project lover in me, and I thought Obsidian was really interesting. No Ex Before Marriage is my third Portia Macintosh read. I love this author’s style as the stories are fun escape reads. Since she has over 15 novels published, there are still a lot more from her that I need to read.

My goal for next week is attempt a few more ARCs, especially a few shorter ones, such as, The Starlight Blade. I still have Count Your Lucky Stars and Wings of Ebony on my TBR for next week, but I will have to see what I can fit in for reading. Year of the Reaper is my audiobook goal for next week since I found a copy for it.

Happy Reading! Thank you for reading my wrap-up!
