For January, I completed Ash Princess for the first prompt (Read a book that you meant to read last year or finish reading a book that you started last year) and I chose Wings of Ebony for the second prompt (Read the 1st book in a series).
My February selections were Bridal Boot Camp (Little Bridge Island #0.5) the second prompt (Read a short book (250 pages or less). For the other prompt, I read Fierce Fairytales: Poems and Stories to Stir Your Soul for the first prompt (Read a short story collection).
March Novel Picks: As Old as Time (Twisted Tales #3) & Serpent & Dove (#1)
March’s theme is “Transformation,” so this month my goal is to read more books involving magic. I have many novels that would fit the first prompt (Read a book that has some form of shapeshifting), so it was difficult to decide. I ultimately landed on As Old as Time, as I have been trying to catch up on the Twisted Tales series. The second prompt (Read a book that includes magic) was also a difficult choice to only select one novel. I chose Serpent and Dove as I have been meaning to read this series for a few years and I want to finally try it.
I am excited that, so far, I have been completing the prompts for each month. I hope I can continue this trend for the rest of the year.
HAPPY READING!
