~ Top Ten Tuesday: Anticipated Sequels ~

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

How it works: Each Tuesday will be assigned a topic and then you post your top ten list that fits it. Feel free to add your own spin on the topic to make it work for you! For me, I’m not sure the type of spin I want to put on it, so for now I’ll post fairly straight-forward responses.

I put this month’s topics at the bottom of the post, but you can find the whole list on the host blog. If you don’t have a blog, you’re welcome to participate using other social media or even by putting your list in the comments.

This Week’s Topic:  Freebie (come up with your own topic!) – Since there are many great sequels coming out this year, I chose that as my prompt.

Bladesmith #2 – Expected publication: July 26th 2022
Realm Breaker #2 – Expected publication: June 28th 2022
Wilderwood #2 – Expected publication: June 9th 2022
Burning Kingdoms #2 – Expected publication: August 16th 2022
Gilded #2 – Expected publication: November 8th 2022
The Infinity Courts #2 – Expected publication: April 19th 2022
Kingdom of the Wicked #3 – Expected publication: September 27th 2022
The Aurelian Cycle #3 – Expected publication: August 9th 2022
All of Us Villians #2 – Expected publication: August 30th 2022
The Hollow Star Saga #2 – Expected publication: May 24th 2022

  • April 5: Freebie (come up with your own topic!)
  • April 12: Authors I Haven’t Read, But Want To (Submitted by Deanna @ A Novel Glimpse)
  • April 19: Bookish Merchandise I’d Love to Own
  • April 26: Books with [___] On the Cover (Pick a thing (a color, an item, a place, an animal, a scripty font, a sexy person, etc.) and share covers that have that thing on the cover.)

Happy first Tuesday in April!

Originally, when I saw the prompt was a freebie topic, I thought about going with a standard Spring TBR list. Since I have a few others, I decided to still keep it a TBR list, but limit it to sequels that will be published this year. I know I am missing multiple that I am greatly looking forward to, but these are the first ten that came to mind and ones that I will definitely read when I get the chance.

How about you? How did you interpret this week’s topic?
