I am happy that I finally had the chance to return to the Throne of Glass series this week. After completing the fourth novel, Queen of Shadows, I cannot wait to begin the fifth, Empire of Storms. This series has a ton of characters and multiple overlapping storylines, so I really hope it is made into a TV series soon! This series would make an excellent series as there is a lot going on at one time and it would be nice to see how an adaption would have all of the pieces flow together compared to the novels.
I completed the second novel in the Marriage Game series, The Dating Plan, which was not for me. I do still enjoy the author’s style, which is why I am continuing with the third novel, The Singles Table. I also completed the second novel in the Primas of Power series and greatly enjoyed A Lot Like Adios. My favorite this week has been the ARC for Tear Down the Throne. Both the first and second novels in this series have been amazing and I cannot wait to try more from the author. The wait for the third and final in the series will be a tough wait.
My current reads beyond the two mentioned above are ARCs for Misrule and Starry-Eyed Love, which I am almost finished with and just need to write out my thoughts, along with Jade Gold Fire. As I am working on three series at the same time for audiobooks, I most likely will continue with the Throne of Glass series’ sixth novel, Tower of Dawn, along with the second novel in The Lunar Chronicles, Scarlet, and the second novel in The Daughters of Eville series, Of Glass and Glamour. My next ARC, I believe, will be All Fired Up.
