~ My Other Posts ~

As I moved houses last weekend, I was very limited in my time for reading and most likely will continue reading less this next week as I start to unpack. I have a lot more stuff than I thought and so does my family, which means we may still be unpacking until next year at the rate we are going right now.

As for reading, I am very excited that I finished the second novel in the Lunar Chronicles series. This story build well on the previous while adding in a brand new main character, multiple secondary characters, and plots. The further along I get in this series, the more excited I get for the eventual animated movie/tv series that is currently in the works!

My ARC for this week is Misrule. While it was not quite as amazing as the first, there were enough elements that I liked and combined to make this an overall great story. As I have multiple FairyLoot editions of stories, I finally decide to select one to read and went with Jade Gold Fire. I am on the fence still if I think it should have been a duology like I thought after my initial reading. Right now I think I like it better as is, but when I wrote my initial review a few days ago I leaned more towards a duology. Either way, the story was interesting and I cannot wait to try more from the author.

For next week, I have multiple series, such as Throne of Glass and the Lunar Chronicles, that I want to continue to work on along with any new novels that catch my attention. It is the problem that many avid readers face where we sometimes want to read everything at once and it is difficult to solely focus on just one at a time. I am sure I can narrow down my options soon and hopefully I can start something new over the weekend.

Happy Reading! Thank you for reading my wrap-up!
