~ My Other Posts ~

This week has been a heavier dose of audiobooks compared to printed versions. I am now reading two series by Sarah Maas as I started one previously and the other is part of my TBR Knockout Challenge. Tower of Dawn was a lot better than expected, but I think I would read it as book five in the series compared to book six during a reread of the series. As for A Court of Thorns and Roses, I can see where the author is going in general, but I am waiting for details to make me more connected to the characters and story. I believe I will have better luck starting with book two, so I cannot wait to start it!

I cannot believe that I am almost finished with The Lunar Chronicles series as I am almost through the last novel, Winter. As I completed the third, Cress, and prequel, Fairest, novels this week, I am very excited to learn about the epic conclusion!

My other series is the Daughters of Eville. While the first two novels were not entirely for me, I love the overall theme of the series and the fairy tale aspects that are incorporated into each tale. Book of Night is currently listed as a standalone on Goodreads, but there is a ton of potential for a sequel, so I cannot wait to see if Black will turn it into an official series.

My two ARCs this week were Together We Burn and The Reunion. The first novel was excellent as I loved how the author created a historical adventure/mystery with dragons while balancing it with a sweet romance story. As for The Reunion, there was a ton of potential there, but it just never quite got me to fully connect to the characters or story.

For next week, I have a few ARCs that I trying to work on along with my audiobooks of multiple series. As it is almost the end of May, I am trying to put together my reading list to see what I actually read this month and to try and see what I want to read in June.

Happy Reading! Thank you for reading my wrap-up!
