This week I completed another series, The Lunar Chronicles, which turned out really well. Not every novella in the final collection was note-worthy, but I can see how all of the stories went together to make everything feel complete. A Mirror Mended was my only other series, which was the final story in the Fractured Fables duology.
My other stories this week were all standalones. Something to Talk About was one I read as it was on my TBR and it also fit one of June’s prompts for the TBR Knockout Challenge. Excuse Me While I Ugly cry was another TBR backlist novel that I have been meaning to get to and finally completed after it became available at my library.
My other three novels were all ARC standalones, Fake It Till You Bake It, The Bodyguard, and Bet On It. Each offered some fun romances all set around the United States with different types of couples.
For next week, I have a few other novels that I am working on, including a re-read of Lord of the Rings narrated by Andy Serkis. I am not sure how many novels I will be able to finish, but I am excited to at least work on this series again.
