Welcome to my sixteenth post for the ABC Challenge!
I am not sure who the creator of this challenge is as I do not recall seeing a link on others’ posts. If you know who it is, I will be happy to add their credits. The rules are simple as each post contains one letter of the alphabet and contains memorable reads from the past and novels from your TBR.
For this challenge, I decided to mix up my order using a random letter generator. Instead of going alphabetically, I will post based on the letter chosen by the generator. As there may be repeats, I am not sure if I want to select a new letter or just post the letter given by the generator, so I will have to decide once that situation occurs. I am also still working on if I want to make this a weekly post or if I want to spread out the posts.
Today’s Letter: Y
“Y” is a very difficult letter as I have read less than ten novels beginning with this letter. I have around 15 on my TBR, but I know there are more out there that exist and should eventually be added once I find them.
Memorable Titles That Start With the Letter “Y”
- You Have a Match – This novel has a very fun premise which I greatly enjoyed. The maturity levels of the characters were inconsistent and did not always fit with the writing, so I am still on the fence on how I liked this novel.
- Yes & I Love You (Say Everything #1) – There is a lot going on in this story and this novel provided a great start to the series with a new couple in each book.
- You’ve Been Volunteered (Class Mom #2) – This novel was another entertaining addition to the series.
- Yoga Pants Nation (Class Mom #3) – This was another interesting addition to the series that follows along Jen and her classroom adventures with her family.
- (The) Year of the Witching (Bethel #1) – I greatly enjoyed this gothic mix of a cult environment mixed with witches. As the author has this series on hold, I hope the sequel is eventually published.
- Year of the Reaper– While this novel is a standalone, there is still a lot packed into the story to make it both feel enjoyable and complete.
- You Deserve Each Other – This novel is a fantastic example where some readers will love it and others will not. I was the latter as the two main characters were very unlikeable and I could not connect to this as a romance.
- You Had Me at Hola (Primas of Power #1) – This story was a fun mix that included two actors and their story of getting to know each other weaved together with scenes of their shared tv show.
