As I took a small break from reading/blogging for a few days, I did not have a chance to get to a lot of novels that were on my list. I have been leaning more towards audiobooks as my schedule hasn’t given me time to actually sit and read printed forms. I hope to get back to them soon as two of my current reads are ebooks and I will try to begin one or the other today.
I am excited that I completed the second novel in the Samantha Knox series as it is a fun ride similar to the entertaining yet dangerous feeling of the ’99 version of The Mummy. I also made some progress on the ACOTAR and Daughters of Eville series. While there are bits and pieces that I don’t quite like about ACOTAR, I love the characters and it is a very memorable series. As for Daughters of Eville, I like that the main plot that connects the stories is coming together little by little and I am excited to continue the series.
For my future reads, I do have a few ARCs to catch up on. Since I keep falling behind (at least for me) on ARC reading, I have put a pause on requesting more, so now I hope to catch up with the ones I have first and then read the others eventually when they are officially published and I have more time. As it is summer, I do have my patio furniture out again, so I hope to utilize these comfy reading spots soon!
