I actually came across Lucy’s blog (Book Blogger) where she created a “Series Saturday” monthly feature post. Each month she chooses one series to feature whether it is one that is completed or one that is still in progress. As I have tons of series that fit both of those categories, I decided to try out this type of post myself. I am very excited to put posts together for one series per month. I may update it to another timeline, but, for now, I am going to do this monthly.
This month’s series is:
THE FATE OF CROWNS
About the Series –
This series starts with the spin-off prequel novella, Ruin, which can be read before or after the series. The events in the novella are mentioned in the first main novel, but does not need to be read first. The main series begins with The Fate of Crowns which introduces the main three kingdoms and the main characters that all play a role in the series. After the events in the first novel, the story continues right into the second, The Princess of Nothing, before concluding in the third, The Court of Secrets.
Why I Chose This Series –
Winter is the main character in the three full-length novels. She does not begin as a fully likable one, but she definitely grew on me by the end. The first novel, The Fate of Crowns (Review), begins in the kingdom of Magaelor. It expands into the kingdom to the north, Neferum and the one across the sea, Berovia. Soon Winter finds herself interacting with Blaise of Neferum and Cedric of Berovia where an interesting love triangle forms. The Princess of Nothing (Review) explores these relationships and further builds the political intrigue that exists between the kingdoms. The Court of Secrets (Review) brings it all together and forms an epic conclusion. This series may not have began as one of my favorites from the start, but it grew into one of my top ones that I can easily re-read.
Have you read the Fate of Crowns series or is it on your TBR?
If so, what did you think of the novel(s)?

This is also my favorite series. I loved this amazing world that Rebecca created. She has now become one of my all-time favorite authors. I would definitely reread this entire series too. While I do love both Winter and Blaise, but Cedric is just so special to me. Glad to see someone who also enjoys this series. 🤗
