This week I managed to complete eight novels – three ARCs, one paperback, and four audiobooks.

I have made some nice progress with the Daughters of Eville series as I only have the final novel to go, although I have to wait for it to release on audiobook first as I want to remain consistent with the stories. I listened to an ARC copy of The Hook-up Plan, which was my first by the author. While I was not a huge fan of the execution, I am still curious to try the other novels in the series. All of Our Demise was an excellent conclusion to the duology and it had a nice unexpected ending compared to what I predicted at the very beginning. My other ARC was Lucy Checks In. For this one, it was a great story, but I mainly disappointed how the cover does not accurately reflect the story.
I was excited to find out that The Queer Principles of Kit Webb had a companion/sequel and The Perfect Crimes of Marian Hayes was a fun novel. My final audiobook was Out of the Blue, which was a heartwarming coming of age complete with merfolk. My final novel of the week was my FairyLoot edition of Twin Crowns, which was interesting as I thought it was a standalone when I began, but it turned out to be part of a series.
I have a few novels that I am trying to decide between for next week, so I will have to see what I end up reading when the time comes.
Happy Reading! Thank you for reading my wrap-up!
