So far, I have completed two series, The Four Kingdoms and Fallen. My current series are Crave, Defy the Night, Beyond the Four Kingdoms, and The Gilded Wolves. I just started the Crave series, which was extremely like Twilight for the first novel, so I hope that it differentiates itself more in the second novel. While it is not a straight retelling, it had too many similarities to call it an original story, right now, but I can see how it can branch off and become similar, but still unique.

Now that Halloween is over, it is time for the ultimate battle in my house of how long we wait until any Christmas or other winter decorations come out. Our property has two houses on it where we have some land in between, which means each house has privacy, so my husband and me are on one side where we want to keep it just fall/Thanksgiving for November whereas my sister and her husband just want to skip ahead to winter ones. Last year they won and we went full winter wonderland in November, so I am hoping this year we can keep the fall decorations up for as long as possible.
