~ My Other Posts ~

After finally deciding to try out a new-to-me author, Frost Kay, I was going to start reading The Dragon Isle Wars series where the second one just came out in November, I was saddened to find that there was actually a whole plagiarism scandal with the authors other works. There are screenshots of the two series online that show the word-for-word copying from the original (which you can see on S.M. McEachern’s twitter or even google), so I elected to return my library copies of the two novels in the series and now am on my quest to continue with my other novels. The two authors have resolved it behind the scenes last month at the beginning of November, but I, unfortunately, still lost interest in Frost Kay as an author.

As we are now in December, I have started reading the novels chosen for the Reindeer Readathon. I completed the first novel, The Holiday Swap, and I am currently working on my next two as I will be doing one in ebook form and the other in audiobook.

Originally, both Part of Your World and Delilah Green were nominees for the Goodreads Choice Awards, however, Part of Your World did not advance to the final round. After reading it, I can see why as I preferred Delilah to Part if I had to choose one. I still have a lot of novels on those nominee lists to read, but I most likely will have to push a lot of them back until 2023 as I have multiple other reading challenges to finish first.

Happy Reading! Thank you for reading my wrap-up!
