I am currently continuing with the Crave series. While I do not like the style of the romance and how it is written, which is similar to Maas, I do enjoy the rest of the story. I think now that the story is finding its footing with putting it all together, it seems to have a lot of potential to be more my style. As I am only on the third novel, though, I will have to actually wait and see how it turns out.
Since this is the final month of the year, I am attempting to wrap up the last few novels for my Beat the Backlist challenge and then I will have to see how many of the actual prompts I completed from the 52 as I may only have the original 24 I was planning. No matter how many I finished, though, I did enjoy knocking out a lot of my backlist titles this year. I also will start soon the two novels for my TBR Knockout challenge, which are also holiday-themed, so I can double count those for my Christmas Reading Challenge. My final challenge is the Reindeer Readathon where I finished my first prompt and will be working on the next two as one will be an ebook and the other will be an audiobook so I can do them both at the same time since I usually have one audiobook and one ebook going at a time.
Slowly, I am also working on all my wrap-up posts for the year plus attempting to design a new blog layout. I had this one since the beginning two years ago, so I think it may be time for an update. I’ll have to see what I can come up with and, if not, I don’t mind keeping it for awhile longer.
HAPPY WEDNESDAY AND READING!
