~ Reindeer Readathon: Wrap-up ~

I can’t believe this readathon is already over as I completed all the prompts plus the bonuses. This one was really fun as I not only got to read some of my backlist TBR, but some of the newer releases on my TBR as well. I can’t wait to try this one again next year!

My Assignment: Team Snowflake!

There were five teams for this readathon where participants are randomly assigned to join one of them. The five teams were: Team Mistletoe (Erik), Team Snowflake (Noelle), Team Nutcracker (Christine & Mo), Team Stocking (Kristin), and Team Candy Cane (Lezlie).

The Prompts & Bonuses:

My Prompts and Completed Novels:

Finish a series or pick up a book that you started and put down. If neither of these is an option, a short story/novella.

Finish a series or pick up a book that you started and put down. If neither of these is an option, a short story/novella.

A book with a cursive/flowy/elegant font on the cover.

A book with your favorite season on the cover or the book cover has colors from your favorite season on it.

A book you want to read but think might be overhyped.

A book with an astronomical word in the title (sun, moon, star, sky, etc.)

A book with a favorite trope in it.

A book that you want to read but are not a fan of the cover.

Use a random number generator to find a number between 0 and 9 and find a book that ends in that page number.

Start a new series.

There were four bonuses for this readathon that I also completed. For the first, Christmas Star (a book over 500 pages), I read Charm. For the second, Christmas Lights (an ebook), I completed The Holiday Swap. As for the third, Christmas Carols (an audiobook), I listened to Fevered Star. For the final bonus, Sleighing It, I did Of Secrets and Slippers, which is the final novel in the Daughters of Eville series. All of these prompts plus the bonuses were really fun and interesting. While some of my reads were holiday ones, others were just TBR novels. I love that this challenged helped narrow down some December reads and I look forward to trying this challenge again next year!
