While not every novel was a winner this week, I am glad that I took the time to try out each for myself. The Perfect Date was a very disappointing read, which is unfortunate as I loved the concept. I don’t think I will try this author again, but I never say never.

I am excited that I have continued reading some backlist novels as there are so many novels written previously that I want to read. Although I still want to read new releases, I do want to try and update my TBR a little by knocking a few of them out this year rather than having them be buried in my mountain of other novels. It is only the second week of the year, so I shall have to see how it goes from now on.
