Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
How it works: Each Tuesday will be assigned a topic and then you post your top ten list that fits it. Feel free to add your own spin on the topic to make it work for you! For me, I’m not sure the type of spin I want to put on it, so for now I’ll post fairly straight-forward responses.
I put this month’s topics at the bottom of the post, but you can find the whole list on the host blog. If you don’t have a blog, you’re welcome to participate using other social media or even by putting your list in the comments.
This Week’s Topic: Bookish Goals for 2023
(1) Beat the Backlist Reading Challenge
This year I want to attempt all 52 prompts again and I hope I am able to complete it!
(2) TBR Reading Challenge
As there are only 24 prompts (2 per month) for this challenge, I think this one is the most doable for the reading challenges.
(3) Audiobook Challenge
I’ve participated in this challenge two years in a row and I cannot wait to attempt it again in 2023.
(4) Reindeer Readathon Reading Challenge
I had a great time trying out all the prompts last year and can’t wait to sign up again this year!
(5) 20 Books for Christmas Reading Challenge
So far, I have managed to complete this challenge two years in a row and I am hoping to try to make it three.
(6) Popsugar Reading Challenge
I have seen this challenge for years, but never got around to trying it. This year, I think, might be time to at least attempt it.
(7) Book Tags
There are millions of book tags out there that always look like they are a lot of fun, but I never got around to the majority of them. My goal this year is to at least try one a month.
(8) ABC Challenge Book Meme
I actually completed this for the first time last year. My goal this year is to try it again and see how many more novels I can match to each letter.
(9) Blog Redesign
I don’t have a clear direction for this goal, yet, but I do want to redesign this blog in some way. I am not sure if that will be just to re-do my menus, the color scheme, or if I want to completely change everything yet, but I hope to change it up a little this year.
(10) Read 200 Novels
I am going with 200 this year with a mixture of audiobooks and printed novels. The past few years I have completed more, but I think 200 is a great starting point for 2023.
JANUARY TOPICS:
January 3:Favorite Books of 2022January 10:Most Anticipated Books Releasing in the First Half of 2023January 17:Bookish Goals for 2023- January 24: New-to-Me Authors I Discovered in 2022 (If you didn’t read books by 10 new authors, share new-to-you authors whose books you added to your TBR in 2022. Get creative, if needed!)
- January 31: Freebie
Happy third Tuesday in January!
I have a lot of ideas for goals, such as returning to update my Instagram, etc., but I do not think I will get to them this year. My hope is then to get to them in 2024 and, at least, attempt to accomplish the above ten goals this year.
How about you? How did you interpret this week’s topic?

Great goals! I’m doing the Popsugar Reading Challenge too. And I’m thinking of a blog redesign too, but I have no idea what I want. lol

So many challenges!!! I remember you doing a lot of them last year too, and you always seemed to be right where you needed to, so I have faith you can meet these goals this year! Good luck!

Wow, so many reading challenges you want to participate in! Good luck!
I agree with you on book tags, I need to do those more often too. It has been years, definitely not on this blog.
Yes, keeping up with my book reviews and reading mor BIPOC (and POC as well) authors are also something I need to work on. Good luck! My TTT: https://laurieisreading.wordpress.com/2023/01/17/top-ten-tuesday-books-i-expected-more-from-in-2022/

Okay another comment for another blogger was still on my clipboard without me being aware of it. I’m sorry for the mess.
