~ Top Ten Tuesday: ‘Love’ Novels ~

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

How it works: Each Tuesday will be assigned a topic and then you post your top ten list that fits it. Feel free to add your own spin on the topic to make it work for you! For me, I’m not sure the type of spin I want to put on it, so for now I’ll post fairly straight-forward responses.

I put this month’s topics at the bottom of the post, but you can find the whole list on the host blog. If you don’t have a blog, you’re welcome to participate using other social media or even by putting your list in the comments.

This Week’s Topic: Love/Valentine’s Day Freebie (For this freebie, I went with romance novels that have the word ‘love’ in their title.

FEBRUARY TOPICS:

  • February 7: 2023 Debut Books I’m Excited About
    February 14: Love/Valentine’s Day Freebie
    February 21: Favorite Heroines
February 28: Genre Freebie (Pick a genre and build a list around it. It could a list of favorites, a to-read list, recommendations for people interested in reading books in that genre, “if you like this, try this”, etc.)

Happy second Tuesday in February and Happy Valentine’s Day!

Freebies are always difficult for these posts as there are too many ideas that come to mind. This time I kept it simple and used the titles to help me build the list and I used the genre to fit the Valentine’s Day theme. I used eight past reads and two TBR ones that will be released in the future. I am especially looking forward to the finale in Stephanie Garber’s trilogy! Each of these novels feature different takes on love stories where romances are part of it, but they each approach creating the romance in their own ways.

How about you? How did you interpret this week’s topic?
