In this challenge, there are two prompts/challenges per month. The goal is to complete both challenges using titles from your TBR (novels published prior to 2023) and the main “rule” is that books do not double-count.

- Read something cozy
- Read a book with Fall in the title or series name

- Read a thriller
- Read a book with a monster in it
November – SELF-CARE
- Read a book that’s going to make you feel good
- Read an easy or relaxing book
December – GIFTS
- Read a book that was gifted to you OR gift someone else a book
- Read a book with gift in the title or a gift on the cover (can also just have something that you might give as a gift on the cover such as books)

I am selecting Obsidian (Lux #1) for the first prompt (Read a book set in a school setting) and Onyx (Lux #2) for the second one (Buddy read a book).

I can’t believe it is already August! When I was thinking of novels for the first school prompt, I selected another Jennifer Armentrout series. Since a lot of my friends haven’t read the Lux one either, we decided to buddy read the entire series. Since the second prompt was to buddy read, it made the most sense to use the second novel after using the first for the other prompt.
