For this week, I managed to read and review 10 novels. It is a little less than last week, but it is still a great number, for me. I am happy if I get to read one and in an ideal world I would love 100 per week (given no other obligations), so 10 is a nice “realistic” number for me.
My audiobooks for this week were a mixture as two of them are part of a series that I do not know when another novel, if any, will be published. I did not realize it was such an open-ended series where a third novel is not announced before starting, so it while the series was great, it did leave me frustrated. The Loresmith series, though, has excellent potential, and I enjoyed both Forged in Fire and Stars and Cast in Secrets and Shadow. My standalone audiobook was A Lesson in Vengeance. While this novel was not perfect, to me, it did an incredible job of giving me a fairly unexpected ending. My other audiobook, It Happened One Summer, is actually the start of the Bellinger Sisters series, so I am very excited to continue with my ARC of Hook, Line, and Sinker.
My last audiobook actually ties together with one of my ARC novels, although both can be read as standalones. The Trouble with Hating You was the first novel that I completed as an audiobook and First Love, Take Two was my ARC. I enjoy the author’s style, so far, and there a lot of characters within the series, so I hope that it continues with more novels.
My other ARCs were Romance by the Book, which was a very sweet and humous addition to the Soul Mates in Romeo series, and Iron Widow, which featured a polyamorous romance (a first for a well-done one for me). Iron Widow is an incredible novel and I have extremely high expectations for the sequel.
For my book blog tours, I read two additional novels written by authors that I previously enjoyed. The first was The Dating Game and the second was Will They, Won’t They?. I adored both novels as they were sweet romances filled with journeys of self-discovery. I would easily continue to read more novels by both authors.
For next week, I am going to try a few audiobooks that are “older,” such as An Enchantment of Ravens and The Siren. Both have been on my TBR for awhile, so I wanted to give them a try. I am not sure sure about my ebooks/ARCs as I need to actually organize those today to see which ones are a priority, such as, blog tour novels.

Per Netgalley, this novel was published on September 16th, although Goodreads says it was published on August 2nd. Love Life was, unfortunately, not fully for me, but there is a lot of potential within the pages.
Thank you for reading my wrap-up! Happy 3rd Saturday of September! How was your week? Did you read or do anything good?

What a great week of reading and reviewing! I need to get better at reviewing the books I read but sometimes I read so much and just don’t have the energy to review them afterwards 😂 I have quite a few of these on my TBR but I’m especially excited for Iron Widow—it keeps sounding better and better with every review I see! Have a great week ahead 🙂

Agree! Sometimes I don’t have the energy to review everything that I read. Ideally, I try to review them as soon as I finish so I all of my initial thoughts end up in the review. It does not always work, but I try (haha). Iron Widow has been a novel that, so far, almost everyone, including me, seemed to enjoy so it has been living up to the hype. I hope the sequel can now live up to my very high expectations and I hope you enjoy it when you get a chance to read it! ❤
